All of our dogs are in our home and part of our family rather than living in kennels, so they get lots of attention. Which is why in order to expand our breeding program we sometimes need guardian families for our puppies. A guardian home is a permanent family for one of our breeding females/males.
Becoming a guardian gives you the opportunity to have our "pick of the litter" puppy as a family pet. rather than buying this puppy you will be putting down a $500 deposit that will pay for her/his spay/neutered at the end of her/his breeding career (3 - 5 litters or up to the age of 5 for females and up to the age of 6 for males)
Big Bang Poodles will retain ALL breeding rights. once retired she/he will be spayed/neutered and full legal ownership would be signed over to the guardian and the guardian contract would be over at that point.
We don't breed our females until their second heat, if you are a guardian for one of our females you must be willing to let us know when she is in heat and be willing to bring her to us. she will stay with us for 1 week to be breed then goes back home to her guardian family during her pregnancy (63 days) and then is returned to us at least one week before her due date to whelp and raise her puppies, once her puppies are weaned, she can return to her guardian family
(a total of 6 to 7 weeks) Guardians of one of our females will be compensated $50. /Puppy once her puppies go home.
If you are a guardian for a male, you must be willing to drop him off for breeding's.
